How to use

What are the benefits of organic body oil?

Our body oil combines five organic ingredients with complementary properties:

  • Ivy: draining and toning action, ideal for skin with orange peel appearance.
  • Daisy: natural brightener, evens out dark areas (elbows, knees, armpits).
  • Verbena: toning and refreshing, stimulates skin circulation.
  • Plum: smoothing and nourishing, for satiny and supple skin.
  • Sweet almond: universal nourishing base, soothes and moisturizes lastingly.

The ivy + verbena synergy is particularly popular for massage on the thighs and abdomen due to its toning effect.

Is the body oil suitable for the whole family?

Yes. The sweet almond and daisy base ensures high skin tolerance. The body oil is suitable for adult skin and can be used from adolescence.

For very reactive skin or pregnant women, consult your doctor before using ivy or verbena — these plants are not recommended in case of allergy to Asteraceae or during the first trimester of pregnancy.

How to apply body oil for optimal results?

The ideal time: right after your shower, while your skin is still slightly damp. The warmth opens your pores and the residual moisture facilitates spreading and absorption.

  1. Pour an amount from a pea-size to a teaspoon into your palm, depending on the area.
  2. Warm between your hands for a few seconds.
  3. Massage in circular motions — upwards on the legs to stimulate circulation.
  4. Focus on dry areas: knees, elbows, heels, décolletage.

Dressing can wait 2 to 3 minutes to avoid staining fabrics.

Can body oil be used on the face?

The formula is designed for the body, but some ingredients (sweet almond, daisy) are gentle enough to be used on the face in a pinch. However, we recommend using our facial-specific vegetable oils for facial care: they are lighter and more precisely dosed for facial skin, which is thinner and more reactive.

How to incorporate body oil into a wellness routine?

The body oil is perfectly suited for regular self-draining massage, which enhances its active ingredients:

  • Morning: quick application after showering for silky skin all day long.
  • Evening: slower massage, with upward strokes on the legs — ideal for activating venous return and relaxing muscles.
  • Weekly treatment: apply generously and leave on for 15 minutes under a warm towel before rinsing off any residue for an intensive balm effect.
Does the body oil leave a greasy film on the skin?

If applied correctly to damp skin and in the right amount, body oil penetrates without leaving an unpleasant greasy film. The sweet almond and plum base is dry to the touch in 3 to 5 minutes.

If you find the texture too rich: reduce the amount or dilute a few drops in your usual moisturizing lotion.

How to store body oil?

Store body oil away from light and heat, ideally in a cupboard rather than in the bathroom (humidity and temperature variations accelerate oxidation).

  • Close the bottle tightly after use
  • Avoid leaving it on the edge of the shower between uses
  • Period after opening: 9 to 12 months
