FAQ
Which laundry detergent should I choose based on my needs?
- Fragrance-Free Laundry Detergent — no added fragrance. Ideal for sensitive skin, babies, people allergic to fragrances, and for clothing in direct contact with the skin (underwear, pajamas, bed linen).
- Lavender Laundry Detergent — soft and soothing floral note. For everyday laundry, home textiles, sheets. Ideal for a zen atmosphere in the wardrobe.
- Eucalyptus-Cedar Laundry Detergent — fresh and woody. For sportswear, outdoor clothing, towels, and outfits that need deep odor neutralization.
All detergents wash all types of laundry.
What detergent dosages should I use?
The dosage depends on the hardness of your water and the level of soiling:
- Soft water / lightly soiled laundry: minimum dose indicated on the bottle
- Hard water / heavily soiled laundry: standard dose or slightly higher
Organic detergents are concentrated and effective at low doses — avoid overdosing, as this does not improve the result and can leave residues on the laundry.
Tip: add half a cup of soda crystals to the drum to boost the action on very dirty laundry, without altering the formula.
At what temperature can SENZA detergents be used?
SENZA detergents are effective at temperatures as low as 30°C for regular washes. A 40°C program is sufficient for the vast majority of daily laundry. 60°C is reserved for linen, heavily soiled items, or textiles requiring thorough disinfection (sickroom laundry, very dirty dishcloths).
Washing at 30-40°C rather than 60°C represents significant energy savings without loss of effectiveness for ordinary laundry.
Are SENZA detergents suitable for all washing machines?
Yes — SENZA laundry detergents are compatible with all standard washing machines (front-loading and top-loading). They are formulated to be low-sudsing, which is essential for HE (high-efficiency) machines.
They can also be used for hand washing — dissolve in warm water before immersing textiles.
Can SENZA detergents be used on all materials?
SENZA detergents are suitable for most common textiles: cotton, linen, synthetics, blends. For delicate materials:
- Wool and silk: use on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30 °C — test first on an inconspicuous area
- Bright colors: wash at 30 °C inside out to preserve colors
- White laundry: organic detergents without optical brighteners may result in a slightly less dazzling white than conventional detergents — this is normal and has no impact on cleanliness. Simply add half a cup of sodium percarbonate and wash at 60 °C (for cottons, bed linen, etc.)
