FAQ

Which vegetable oil should I choose based on my skin type?

Each organic vegetable oil in our range caters to a specific skin profile:

  • Hemp — oily, combination, acne-prone skin. Rich in omega-3 and omega-6, it regulates sebum without clogging pores.
  • Hazelnut — combination to oily skin. Light and penetrating, it tightens pores and mattifies.
  • Plum — mature or dry skin. Its rare fatty acids smooth and redensify.
  • Lavender — sensitive and irritated skin. Soothing, it calms redness and evens out skin tone.
  • Daisy — dull complexions. Known for its natural brightening properties.
  • Dandelion — congested skin. Detoxifying, it promotes the elimination of impurities.
  • Raspberry — sun-exposed skin. Natural SPF estimated at 28–50, rich in antioxidants.
  • Sweet Almond — dry, sensitive skin, all types. The universal oil, soft and nourishing.

Hesitating between two? You can mix them in the palm of your hand — our oils are 100% compatible with each other.

Are organic vegetable oils suitable for oily skin?

Yes – provided you choose the right one. Contrary to popular belief, certain vegetable oils regulate sebum production thanks to their polyunsaturated fatty acid composition. Hemp oil and hazelnut oil are the best allies for oily and combination skin: their lipid profile, similar to natural sebum, sends a signal of balance to the skin.

To avoid on very oily skin: sweet almond oil (too rich) and plum kernel oil (too occlusive).

How to apply a vegetable oil to your face?

For optimal absorption, follow these steps:

  1. Apply to clean, slightly damp skin — water facilitates the penetration of lipids into the superficial layers.
  2. Dispense 3 to 5 drops into the palm of your hand and warm between both palms (5 seconds).
  3. Gently press onto the face rather than rubbing — the warmth of your hands promotes absorption without stretching the skin.
  4. Massage in upward motions on cheeks, forehead, and neck if desired.

To maximize the effect, apply your oil after your serum and before your cream — it seals in the moisturizing active ingredients.

Can you use a vegetable oil in your hair?

Yes. Several oils in our range are suitable for hair care:

  • Sweet Almond: nourishing pre-shampoo mask, detangling for dry ends.
  • Raspberry: heat protection serum before blow-drying or straightening.
  • Lavender: care for sensitive or irritated scalp, massaged in before washing.
  • Hazelnut: ideal lightness for fine hair that tends to get greasy easily.

Apply a few drops to the lengths and ends, leave on for 20 minutes to 1 night under a warm towel, then shampoo.

When should you apply your plant-based oil in your routine?

The golden rule in cosmetics: from lightest to heaviest. Since oils are lipophilic, they form a light occlusive film that seals in everything applied underneath.

  1. Cleanser / makeup remover
  2. Toner or floral water
  3. Serum (if used)
  4. Vegetable oil
  5. Moisturizer (optional, if skin is very dry)

In the morning, a light oil (hazelnut, hemp) is often enough to replace cream. In the evening, it's the ideal time for richer oils (plum, sweet almond).

Can different vegetable oils be mixed together?

Absolutely. Our oils are 100% pure and organic — they are fully compatible with each other. We even encourage you to create your own blend to adapt the care to your current needs.

Some interesting synergies:

  • Radiance + protection: daisy + raspberry
  • Regulation + lightness: hemp + hazelnut
  • Intense night nutrition: plum + sweet almond
  • Soothing and repair: lavender + sweet almond
Why choose 100% organic vegetable oils?

Organic certification guarantees that plants have been grown without pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. For vegetable oils, this is essential: lipids are fat-soluble molecules that easily concentrate chemical residues present in the plant.

Our oils are cold-pressed—without heat or solvents—to preserve all of their essential fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamins (A, E), and natural antioxidants.

A cold-pressed oil retains up to 3 times more active ingredients than a hot-refined oil.

How to store your vegetable oils?

Vegetable oils are sensitive to three enemies: light, heat, and oxygen. To store them under the best conditions:

  • Away from direct light (in a cupboard or their original box)
  • At room temperature, away from heat sources (oven, sunny window)
  • Close the bottle tightly after each use
  • Recommended use-by date after opening: 6 to 12 months

Raspberry and dandelion oils are more fragile—preferably store them in the refrigerator after opening.
